In Year 2, the OHWRC conducted a series of case studies on the use of teledentistry applications in the delivery of oral health services. One of the FQHCs included in the research study, was an early innovator in teledentistry and has indicated a willingness to provide patient utilization data to better understand the impacts of the teledentistry program on access to care and oral health outcomes. The analysis of these data by OHWRC researchers will highlight the value of teledentistry applications, particularly for safety net providers and underserved populations.
